The New "Post-Racial" America

Our second black president "shows ease discussing race"...

...by referring to any potential First Pets as "mutts like me".

Is he finally admitting he's not really black?

Or simply stating what too many of us have feared from the beginning: "Whites need not apply" for cabinet positions. "Whites need not expect" their concerns to be heard or addressed by an Obama administration.

The long, dark night of America's soul has just begun...

My Fearless Predictions on Election Day 2008

Fearless, because I have no fear of being wrong.

PREDICTIONS:

1) All mainstream media news shows this evening will lead with stories touting Obama's lead in exit polls.

2) Whatever the margin of Obama's lead in the exit polls, it will undoubtedly be off by at least 7 - 10 percentage points from the actual votes cast.

3) Some African-American will be shown screaming that they were denied the right to vote.

4) Some African-American will be shown espousing their love of Obama.

5) Some redneck (probably from Murtha's district) will be shown saying "I wouldn't vote fer that n***** if hell froze over."

6) Chris Matthew's pant leg will be wet before 7:30 pm EST.
